We kindly invite you to a showcase by the Ott Orchester, founded by Basel-based artist and musician Jacob Ott, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 7:30–8:30 pm to celebrate the start of their European tour Stiff Neck with stops in Basel, Kreuzlingen, Munich, and Vienna. In the context of Ursula Reuter Christiansen’s exhibition at von Bartha in Basel, the quartet will perform its latest program with ambiguous, humorous lyrical motifs and musical elements such as folk, jazz, chanson, and improvisation. A collection (20 CHF is recommended) for the musicians Jacob Ott, Larissa Rapold, Raphaël Rossé, and Oskar Szutenberg will be passed around at this event with limited seating. Come early.
