Back to the Future is the section Artissima has devoted to solo exhibitions of the great pioneers of contemporary art. In 2017 the focus will be narrowed to the period of 1980 – 1989. The section aims to bring international artists who have played a fundamental role in contemporary art back into the limelight. For the general public, Back to the Future is a unique opportunity to get to know important works from those years in a dialogue with today’s experimentation.
