Proyectos Ultravioleta and von Bartha will join forces to present a new and not yet exhibited body of work by Felipe Mujica. The booth will comprise of multiple Curtains – as Mujica calls his fabric works – made during a residency in Nicaragua in 2019. Collaboration playing a central role in Mujica’s work, these curtains were created after a close exchange with the local communities of the Archipelago de Solentiname. To complete the presentation, photographic documentation of the Curtains in situ, will underline the context of this new body of work. The presentation will coincide with a solo presentation of Mujica’s works, made in collaboration with artisans from the Native American Miccosukee tribe in South Florida, at PAMM, Miami.
